Statement – Website Crash

Ghent Photography, thumbnail post

Earlier today our website went down due to a fault in a plugin. It needed to be updated but instead, it crashed the entire site including the backend which caused us to lose access thus creating some serious issues trying to resolve this.

For all fellow WordPress users: If the plugin “Imagify” needs to be updated, don’t be bothered as this caused the website crash.

Do not worry, depending on your host you can contact support or try fixing the crashed plugin yourself using an easy-to-use troubleshooting tool. Please do keep in mind that tampering with records in MyPHP or with core PHP files may fully crash your site so please make a back-up before doing so!

In the meantime, we conducted some general maintenance further increasing site performance and slightly updated the layout with a new font and some changes in the user experience on mobile devices.

`Please hand us your feedback and let us know what you think, you can contact us through our socials (Instagram / Facebook) or say hello.

Thanks!
